Lizard Thicket in Peachtree City was opened in 1993
and we closed the doors to the Braelinn location in
December of 2002. A strong calling, after a battle
with breast cancer, told me to close and do
something serving others for a few years. That
calling led me directly to the American Cancer
Society where I became the senior manager in the
Fayetteville office which serves 11 counties on the
south side of Atlanta. The people I met and the
lessons I learned from so many dedicated, passionate
volunteers, have moved me to start this website,
connecting the community with opportunities to help
and serve others. The staff of Lizard Thicket have
been researching and preparing to keep the community
informed on ways to become involved with whatever
you are passionate about. It doesn't matter who you
help - JUST HELP! The difference it will make in
your life alone is amazing!
God Bless,
Sheri
